5 Warmest Countries to Visit

As you lie on different tropical beaches or try to seek relief from the heat within your Bali villas, a smile may creep over your face. How amazing does it feel to be encompassed by heat, soaking up the rays and getting a suntan? A trip to Bali is always a great way to escape the colder weather, but it’s not the only way. Here are five other countries that are considered some of the warmest to visit.

Yucatan Coast, Mexico

If you’re the type of person who loves nothing more than sunbathing and enjoying baking hot days, then a trip to the Yucatan Coast in Mexico could be an excellent idea. While it’s not everyone’s traditional holiday destination, its white sands, cobalt blue sea, and coastal tourist destinations make it well worth a visit. What’s more, this slice of paradise averages 27 degrees throughout the summer months.

Canary Islands

If you prefer to relax on golden beaches with a cold beverage in hand, rather than take part in tourist events, then the Canary Islands is for you. This must-visit destination is one that will provide lovely hot temperatures of around 24 degrees Celsius, as well as delicious food and luxury beach resorts. If that isn’t enough to convince you, then the volcanic landscape, mountainous terrain and stunning wildlife will.

Everything You Need To Know About Public Transport In Bali

Bali is an extremely popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from all over the world. Many of these visitors don’t drive, which can make getting from one place to another difficult. It can even be hard to get too and from your Bali villas if you have booked them in a somewhat remote area.

Luckily for you, there are plenty of public transport options in Bali which you can rely on to get you around. Public transport is cheap, effective, and it services most of the island. Even if you do drive in your home country, it is often a good idea to just use public transport and taxis when you are on holidays in Bali.

Buses:

Buses are definitely the most popular and cheapest mode of transport in Bali. They are used by tourists and locals alike, and can offer a good insight into real Balinese culture. You can choose between entrepreneurial tourist buses, operated by Balinese locals, and ‘bemos’, the public bus service.

Bemos:

Bemos, or small minibuses, are definitely the cheapest way to get around in Bali. They go pretty much everywhere, and they run on set routes, much like bus services in the rest of the world. Although prices start from around 50 cents, drivers will often charge you more when they see that you are a tourist.

Internet Access In Bali – Finding Public WiFi

Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world for travellers. It is close to large countries like Australia and China, flights are certainly not expensive, and activities are cheap when you get there. However, it is important to remember that Indonesia is something of an underdeveloped country. Although you may decide to stay in a comfortable Bali villa or hotel, you won’t always be able to find the things that we take for granted in countries like Australia, and this may make it hard for you during your visit to Bali.

One of the biggest things that we have, and that we take for granted in developed countries, is internet access. We can jump on the internet from nearly anywhere using mobile WiFi hotspots, free WiFi, or even just our mobile data plan. However, it isn’t always this easy to get connected in a place like Bali. Below we will detail the best way to go about connecting to the internet when you are visiting Bali and other parts of Indonesia.

  • Connect from the comfort of your hotel:

This is definitely the simplest way to gain access to the internet when you are travelling in a third world country. Although good internet access may be hard to come by, most hotels will have some form of WiFi. If having a decent connection is important to you, you can always check this before you book your accommodation.
